Grow in My Relationship with jesus
As we discover our life in Christ, we also begin a lifelong process of growth and transformation. Through intentional living, sacred habits, life in community, and the power of the Holy Spirit, we unlearn the ways of the world and put on the character and values of Jesus. The end goal of all Christian growth is deeper worship and love for God and others.

Go to the Quiet Place (Silence & Solitude)
“Solitude is the beginning of the spiritual life, because in solitude the soul begins to be aware of God, who is in all things and through all things." – Thomas Merton

As we withdraw from the noise and distractions of everyday life, we create space for a greater awareness of God and a deeper understanding of our own soul.

Pray
“Simply put, prayer is all of the ways in which we communicate and commune with God.”
– Ruth Haley Barton

Christian prayer is rooted in the belief that God is both personal and accessible, inviting His followers to share their joys, fears, and needs with Him, as well as listen to what He may have to say to them.

“God’s will for our lives is not a mystery; it is revealed in His Word and through His Spirit.”
– Dallas Willard

The Bible is the inspired word of God, and the most reliable way to hear His voice speaking in our lives. We do not engage with the Scriptures simply to gather information, but in order to be further transformed into the image of Christ.

Meet God in Pain and Suffering
“What could it look like for you to reorient yourself to the pain in your life as an opportunity to be formed by God?” – Practicing the Way

Rather than obstacles to solve, the inevitable troubles that we face in this life can be viewed as opportunities to deeply connect with God and trust Him through the unknown.

Fast
“In fasting, you are literally praying with your body, offering all that you are to God in worship. As you yield your body to God, you are breaking the power of the flesh to control you and opening up to the power of the Spirit in its place.” – John Mark Comer

An often forgotten and misunderstood practice, fasting has historically been of great help for followers of Jesus. In our culture of overabundance and addiction, regular fasts help to break the grip of habitual sin, gain clarity of mind, and become more receptive to God's will in our life.
