Life Groups at Northbrook are small groups that meet for Friendship, Faith, and Fun.

Find one for you: All Adults, Men, Women, Couples, Healing, Twenties, Senior Adults, Students

All groups meet at Northbrook unless listed as a "home group".

  • Twenties group:  SUmmer Hang-out!

    Join us as we take a break from the books and enjoy cookouts, yard games, and great conversations around a fire -- focused on building relationships and taking advantage of summer nights. Led by Taylor Klopatek and Sam Osterberg

    Mondays 6:30 – 8:30 PM at a Richfield home,  June 10 – August 5 (except July 1)    For young adults age 18+

  • Marriage: The Marriage toolbox

    Learn the relationship skills you need to communicate well, problem-solve life's challenges and meet each other's needs.  Leaders: Paul and Jeri Robertson

  • Life with Jesus      

    Discussing foundational truths of life in Christ gives you an opportunity to grow, wherever you are in your faith journey.   If you are interested in becoming a member of Northbrook, Life with Jesus is the first step.  (8 weeks)

    "Making Space for What Matters Most" 

    How do we make time for things we value? This study gleans wisdom from the Book of Proverbs and from the example of Jesus to show you how to center your life on the things that matter most to God and to you as a follower of Christ.

  • Awake: The call to a renewed life

    This study looks at several places in the Bible where God called people to return to Him. It's a call for us, too—a call to experience revival and awakening personally and in our churches.     Available 2 different times:

    Biblically-Based Recovery for Adults. Get help if you're struggling with various hurts, harmful habits or hang-ups to find a turning point in your life through Jesus Christ. Confidentiality valued. No registration needed - just come.

    Every Tuesday, 6:30 – 8:30 PM in the Northbrook chapel

    (pizza at 6 PM on the 2nd Tuesday each month)

  • Grief share: A healing lifegroup for adults

    Adults who are grieving the death of someone close gain support from people who understand, want to offer comfort, and hope to encourage you during this difficult time of life. 13 weeks.  Cost: $15 for the book

    Fall session will be offered October 3 – January 2

  • Family Mental health support group

    Support Group for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.   Leader: Paulette Eck

  • Cancer care family support group

    Prayer, listening, encouragement and practical support in a small group setting for adult cancer patients, family members and others within the circle of treatment and caring. 

    1st & 3rd Mondays of the month, starting September 16 through December 2

  • Divorce care

    Support in a group setting for adults who are separated or divorced. Experienced leaders understand and care about you. Work toward recovering from the pain and rebuilding your life. 

    Fall session: Mondays 6:30 – 8:30 PM, October 7 through January 6

  • Junior High Life Groups     

    This is how to GROW! Meet weekly to learn more about how to love God and love others in everyday, real life situations.

  • Senior High Life Groups        

    Meet weekly with other students who are developing a deeper faith by learning more about what the Bible teaches
