We believe marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman who make vows before God to live together on their journey of following Christ. Our policies regarding weddings emerge from this conviction.

Our purpose is to establish Christian marriages in the context of a loving community, therefore weddings at Northbrook Church are reserved for those who are followers of Christ and who have regularly attended Northbrook for at least six months prior to the date of application.

If you are unsure about what a Christian is and are interested in learning more, our pastors are always happy to meet with people to share what the Bible teaches about how to become a Christian.

 

To begin the pre-marital process at Northbrook or to reserve a wedding date: 

first read Northbrook’s Perspective on Sex before Marriage.

Next, submit the online Wedding Application Form. 

 

After your application has been reviewed, you will be contacted with the next steps. We encourage couples to allow 6-9 months to complete the Northbrook wedding process. We hope this season of life will be a rich experience as you prepare for married life together. Our staff is committed to helping you—not just for your special day, but for a fulfilling marriage.
